Broad-based trade show to run in June concurrently with Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West, Atlantic Design & Manufacturing and Ingredients Expo

EastPack, along with co-shows Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West and Atlantic Design & Manufacturing, will return to the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City, running June 2 through 4. For the first time, Ingredients Expo, a new show will also be held concurrently with the other three markets for a broad-based event serving the packaging needs of the cosmetics and personal care, food, beverage pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.

Exhibitors will include packaging suppliers of machinery and machinery components, closures, containers, materials and services.

At the 2002 event, EastPack drew 9,213 attendees, while total turnout for all of the co-located shows was 24,965. There were 461 exhibitors at EastPack and another 1,013 exhibitors at the other shows.

Show organizers estimate that for 2003 EastPack, attendance will be 10,500 with approximately 345 exhibitors. For the total event including all four co-located shows, attendance is estimated at 22,000 and exhibitors are expected to number 1,500.

Pavilions for Specialized Markets

EastPack will gather specialized exhibitors at the Cosmetic and Personal Care Packaging Pavilion. There, attendees will be able to view a wide variety of services and supplies for the cosmetic, fragrance and personal care packaging industries. Visitors will find stylized bottles, jars, pouches and tubes; specialty labeling, innovative design services; coatings, colorants, finishes; closures, valves, pumps, sprayers; and ties, ribbons and other accessories.

A broad array of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical packaging will be available at the Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical Packaging Pavilion.
